The 2016-17 speech season begins in less than two weeks, and the defending MSHSL state champions are already hard at work crafting beautiful, important messages in hopes of changing the world one speech at a time.
Last season, thanks to the generous support of our friends, family and community, Moorhead was able to send a district-record 19 speakers to the NSDA National Tournament in Salt Lake City, UT. Those funds helped our Spud speakers share their perfect words, perfectly spoken on a national stage.
This year, Moorhead has its sights set on Birmingham and the 2017 NSDA tournament, but our mission to spread important stories is impossible without help from our community.
Tuesday, November 29 is #GivingTuesday and also marks the official beginning of our fundraising campaign for the upcoming speech season. We understand that budgets are strained, especially during the holidays, but we sincerely appreciate any and all financial support--no matter how great or small.
